Victorian Individual Speedway Championship
The Victorian Individual Speedway Championship is a yearly motorcycle speedway event in Victoria, Australia, to decide the state champion. It began in 1926 and is run by Motorcycling Victoria and sanctioned by Motorcycling Australia.
Record holder: Phil Crump has the most titles, with 13 wins between 1972 and 1988.
International winners: Seven riders from outside Victoria have won the championship — Larry Boulton (England, 1933), Ulf Ericsson (Sweden, 1955), Gerry Hussey (England, 1956), Ken McKinlay (Scotland, 1959 & 1961), Ivan Mauger (New Zealand, 1962 & 1963), Roy Trigg (England, 1966, 1969 & 1970), Bert Harkins (Scotland, 1968).
