Ogden Express
Ogden Express (OGX) is a 5.3-mile bus rapid transit line in Ogden, Utah, run by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). It travels from Ogden Central Station to McKay-Dee Hospital, passing Weber State University (WSU) and the Dee Events Center, mostly along Harrison Boulevard. OGX is UTA Route 603X and has 13 stations.
The line opened on August 20, 2023, and is the third BRT line in the Wasatch Front. It connects major spots like Lindquist Field, The Junction, the Ogden/Weber Municipal Building, downtown Ogden, Ogden High School, WSU, and McKay-Dee Hospital. At Ogden Central Station it links with FrontRunner, which connects to TRAX and Amtrak’s California Zephyr.
OGX is free to ride for the first three years. Service runs about every 10 minutes on weekdays (roughly 4:30 am to midnight), every 15 minutes on Saturdays (about 9:30 am to 10:30 pm), and every 30 minutes on Sundays (about 10:00 am to 6:00 pm).
Wildcat Shuttle: A related service for Weber State University is the Wildcat Shuttle (UTA Route 602). It began on August 29, 2022, and operates when WSU is in session, typically every 10 minutes during the day, with a roundabout north of Ogden Central and a loop in the Dee Events Center parking lot. It started with a shorter schedule and then, in 2023, ran weekdays with a 15-minute frequency from about 8:00 am to 8:00 pm through the summer.
