Sediminibacterium salmoneum
Sediminibacterium salmoneum is a Gram-negative, motile bacterium from the genus Sediminibacterium. It was isolated from sediments in the Guanting Reservoir, Beijing, China. The species was described in 2008 by Qu and Yuan. Its type strains are CGMCC 1.6845, DSM 27476, NBRC 103935, and NJ-44. It belongs to the family Chitinophagaceae, order Chitinophagales, class Chitinophagia, phylum Bacteroidota, in the domain Bacteria.
