Au Sin Ying
Au Sin Ying (Chinese: 歐倩瑩; born 8 January 1989 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong sabre fencer. She fences right-handed for the Hong Kong Fencing Association and is coached by Wong Yuet Kei. She is 1.67 m tall and weighs 66 kg.
In 2010, Au won bronze at the Pattaya City World Cup and, at the Guangzhou Asian Games, she earned an individual silver and a team bronze. She was a torchbearer for the 2011 Universiade. Au represented Hong Kong at the 2012 London Olympics in women's individual sabre, losing in the first round to Azza Besbes, 13–15. At the 2014 World Championships in Kazan, she reached the round of 32 after beating Alejandra Benítez, then lost to Vassiliki Vougiouka, who went on to win bronze. Over the years, she has contributed to Hong Kong teams that won medals at various Asian Championships and East Asian Games.
