Sadig Zarbaliyev (Azerbaijani: Sadıq Sirac oğlu Zərbəliyev) was born on April 11, 1951, in Kurdamir District, Azerbaijan SSR. He is an Azerbaijani naqareh player and was named People’s Artist of Azerbaijan in 1998. After high school, he served in the military in 1969. In 1973 he moved to Baku and joined the ensemble of Baba Salahov, playing with Vali Gadimov and Aftandil Israfilov. Since 1975, he has performed with Zeynab Khanlarova.
