Season of Poison is the second studio album by American indie rock band Shiny Toy Guns. It was released on November 4, 2008, by Universal Motown Records. The album peaked at number 47 on the Billboard Hot 100 a week after its release. It features Sisely Treasure as the band’s third female vocalist, and it is the only studio album to include her. Two singles came from the album: Ricochet! (released September 2, 2008) and Ghost Town (January 30, 2009). The album didn’t generate as much hype as their debut, We Are Pilots, and sold about 60,000 copies. In 2009, Jeremy Dawson said the album was great but too different too soon, and he promised the band would return to their electronic roots on their next album.
