Silas Carson
Silas Carson (born 1965 in Westminster, London) is an English actor and voice artist who has worked since 1992. He is best known for his roles in Star Wars and Doctor Who. In the Star Wars prequels, he played Ki-Adi-Mundi, the Cerean Jedi Master, and Nute Gunray, the Neimoidian Viceroy, in all three films. He also did extra voices in Episode I.
Carson voices the Ood in Doctor Who, appearing in The End of the World, The Impossible Planet, The Satan Pit, Planet of the Ood and The End of Time. He later continued voicing the Ood in Big Finish audio dramas.
On TV, he has appeared in Hustle as Kulvinder Samar, Spooks, The IT Crowd, and Waterloo Road as Stuart Hordley. He also played Ravi in Outnumbered and Brian, Samantha’s university professor love interest, in How Not to Live Your Life (Series 3). He appeared in DCI Banks (2015) as Raheel Kamel.
