Sandamu is a Local Government Area (LGA) and town in Katsina State, in northern Nigeria. The LGA headquarters are in the town of Sandamu, which lies on the A2 highway. The coordinates are about 12.96°N, 8.36°E.

Sandamu covers an area of 282 square kilometers and had a population of 137,287 at the 2006 census. The postal code for the area is 824. The region uses West Africa Time (UTC+1).
