Roy Brown (ice hockey)

Roy Townley Brown (December 13, 1880 – September 3, 1950) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the early 1900s. He played for the Brantford Indians and Berlin Dutchmen of the OPHL, and for the Canadian Soo Algonquins of the IPHL, where he served as captain and coach. Born in Mitchell, Ontario, Brown shot right and played as a cover point. His career spanned roughly 1902 to 1911. He died at age 69.
