Utah Utes women's soccer
Utah Utes women's soccer represents the University of Utah in NCAA Division I and the Pac-12 Conference. The team plays its home games at Ute Soccer Field in Salt Lake City, which seats 2,000. Team colors are red and white, and the players are known as the Utes.
In 2016, the team was led by head coach Hideki Nakada (his third season) with assistants Jackie Poortinga and Travis Smith.
The program began in the 1995–96 school year after the Western Athletic Conference started sponsoring women's soccer. Utah has appeared in the NCAA Tournament in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2016, and 2019, including a Round of 16 finish in 2016.
Utah has won conference titles: regular-season championships in 2003, 2005, and 2006, and conference tournament championships in 2003 and 2004.
