Route nationale 5a (Madagascar)

RN 5a is a 406 km secondary highway in Madagascar, running from Ambilobe in the north to Antalaha in the northeast. It passes through the Diana and Sava regions. The Ambilobe to Vohemar segment was long unpaved and in poor condition until road works began in 2020, and it was paved by September 2022. The Vohemar to Antalaha section is paved and in good condition. The road runs from north to south.
