Lake Erie State Park is a 355-acre state park in the Town of Portland, Chautauqua County, New York, just northeast of the village of Brocton. The park’s main attraction is a Lake Erie beach, along with campsites and many outdoor activities. Visitors can hike, go cross-country skiing, birdwatch, fish, boat, and camp in one of 97 campsites or 10 cabins. Swimming on the beach is available on scheduled days. In 2015, an 18-hole disc golf course called Shipwreck Bluff DGC was built at the park, and the park sells discs and clothing for the course. The park is open year-round and is operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
