Rosenhayn Synagogue
Rosenhayn Synagogue, commonly known as the Garton Road Shul, is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Rosenhayn, New Jersey. The congregation began in 1888, and the wooden clapboard building was completed around 1898. It was built by a local Jewish agricultural community with ties to Jews from Soviet Russia and Ukraine. It is one of fewer than 100 surviving nineteenth‑century synagogues in the United States. The Ostroff family of Cumberland County has cared for the synagogue. Address: 600 Garton Road, Rosenhayn, NJ.
