Air Vice Marshal Robert John Honey, CB, CBE, is a former senior commander in the Royal Air Force. He served as Air Secretary from 1989 to 1994. He joined the RAF in January 1955 as an acting pilot officer, was promoted to flight lieutenant in 1961, and by 1971 he was officer commanding No. 228 Operational Conversion Unit RAF. In 1976 he became station commander of RAF Coltishall, in 1984 he was Senior Air Staff Officer at Headquarters No. 1 Group, and in 1987 he was Deputy Commander of RAF Germany. He became Air Secretary on 10 February 1989, succeeding Tony Mason, and retired in 1994. In retirement, Honey was Worcestershire County President of the Royal British Legion.
