Peter Kristian Ahola, born 14 May 1968 in Espoo, Finland, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, and Calgary Flames. Undrafted, he started his career in 1987 and retired in 2003. He also played in Finland's SM-liiga and Sweden's Elitserien.

In his rookie season with the Kings (1991-92), Ahola led the team with a +12 and had 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists) in 71 games. He was traded to the Penguins for Jeff Chychrun the next season, then to the Sharks in the same season. The Sharks later traded him to the Tampa Bay Lightning in June 1993 for Jack Capuano, who was then sent to the Calgary Flames on October 5, 1993 for cash. Ahola played only 2 games for Calgary before moving to the minor leagues. In total, he played 123 regular-season NHL games, scoring 10 goals and 17 assists for 27 points and earning 137 penalty minutes; he also played six playoff games in his rookie season with the Kings with no points.

After leaving the NHL, he returned to Finland (SM-liiga) in 1994, then played in Sweden's Elitserien in 2001 before retiring in 2003. He was once among Finland's top water-skiers. Since the 2016-17 season, he has worked as a European scout for the Vegas Golden Knights.
