The Irish Worker was a left-wing English-language political newspaper in Ireland.

The Irish Worker began in 1911, started by James Larkin and first appeared as The Irish Worker and Peoples’ Advocate. Larkin was the editor at first, but the paper was shut down in August 1914. During the Dublin Lock-out in 1913, James Connolly edited the paper while Larkin was in jail. Many well-known people contributed, including actor Andrew Wilson (sub-editor), Standish James O’Grady, Seán O’Casey, and cartoonist Ernest Kavanagh.

The newspaper was relaunched in 1923 after Larkin returned to Ireland and was used to launch his political party, the Irish Worker League. The last edition was published in March 1932.
