Richard Evans (born 19 June 1983) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a midfielder. He joined Chippenham Town in February 2012 and has been capped by Wales U21. He is the younger brother of Mark Evans, who played for Newport County in the 1990s.

Career
- Evans started as a trainee with Birmingham City but never played for their first team.
- He spent three injury-hit years at Sheffield Wednesday, making 10 league appearances and scoring once, in a 7–2 win over Burnley on 26 April 2003.
- He joined Shrewsbury Town in January 2006, making six league appearances. His season was hampered by a hamstring injury, and he was released on 9 May 2006.
- Three months later he signed for Newport County, playing 42 games and scoring three goals in his first season. His contract with Newport was cancelled by mutual consent in October 2008.
- He then moved to Bath City (2008–2010), making 30 appearances and scoring three goals.
- Evans spent 2010–2011 with Haverfordwest County.
- In 2011 he joined Port Talbot Town, but left on 31 August 2011 without playing a competitive game and signed for Aberaman Athletic.
- In February 2012 he joined Chippenham Town.
