Deestone
Deestone is a Thai tire maker based in Om Noi, Samut Sakhon, in central Thailand. It is the country’s largest Thai-owned tire production facility. The company operates five plants and has subsidiaries in Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Pathom. In 2015, it invested about 10 billion baht and had the capacity to produce more than 10 million tires a year.
With about 10,000 employees and 600 dealers across Thailand, Deestone exports to more than 120 countries. The product range includes tires for motorcycles, trucks, bicycles, and agriculture.
Deestone was founded in 1977 by Suvit Vongsariyavanich. Its first two factories produced truck, industrial, and motorcycle tires. In 1994, the third factory formed Deestone International Co., Ltd., expanding into bicycles, scooters, special industrial tires, and inner tubes for export. The company opened its fourth factory, Svizz-One Corporation Co., Ltd, in 2007 to make automobile radial tires. In 2014, the fifth plant, Siam Truck Radial Co., Ltd, began operations in Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom, to produce truck radials.
In 2016, Deestone sponsored Thai football clubs Nakhon Ratchasima F.C. and Nakhon Pathom United F.C. It also worked as a promotion partner for the films Furious 7 (2015) and Furious 8 (2017).
