Rejchartice
Rejchartice is a small municipality and village in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It covers about 6.8 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of around 493 meters. The population is about 170 people (as of 2025). It lies roughly 6 kilometers north of Šumperk and 51 kilometers north of Olomouc, in the Hanušovice Highlands. The creek Rejchartický potok flows through the village, and the highest point nearby is Smrk hill at about 742 meters. The first written record of Rejchartice dates to 1350 in a deed by Bishop Jan Volek. For centuries it was part of the Bludov estate until 1848. There are no railways or major roads in the village. The main landmark is the Church of Saints Michael and Gabriel, a Baroque church built between 1768 and 1770, replacing an older church from 1643. In German it was known as Reigersdorf.
