Porthole Cruise Magazine
Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine is a bi-monthly, international magazine about cruising. It covers cruise ships, travel destinations, and onboard experiences. It was founded in 1993 by Bill Panoff, who leads the PPI Group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Originally a trade magazine, it became a consumer magazine in 1996. Since 1998 it has published Reader's Choice Awards, asking readers to name their favorite cruise lines, ships, destinations, itineraries, ports of call, onboard amenities, and nearby hotels and excursions. In 2013, PPI Group became the media partner of the Cruise Shipping Miami industry conference. The magazine is published in English and is based in Florida.
