Raymond William Westwood (14 April 1912 – 9 December 1981) was an English footballer who played as an inside forward. Born in Amblecote, he was 1.70 m tall. He began at Stourbridge, had brief spells with Bolton Wanderers, then played for Brierley Hill Alliance before a long Bolton career from 1930 to 1947, making 301 league appearances and scoring 127 goals. He also played for Chester (38 appearances, 13 goals) and Darwen, finishing with total senior league appearances of 339 and 140 goals. Internationally, Westwood earned six England caps between 1934 and 1936 and appeared five times for the Football League XI. He served in the Royal Artillery during the Second World War, in the 53rd (Bolton) Field Regiment. Westwood was the nephew of footballer David Stokes and the uncle of Duncan Edwards. He died in Stourbridge in 1981 at the age of 69.
