Strobelite
Strobelite is a disco-funk song by the British virtual band Gorillaz, from their fifth studio album Humanz. It features Peven Everett on vocals. The single was released on 4 August 2017, with a music video arriving on 7 August 2017. The video, created by Passion Pictures, is set in a dance club and shows band members 2-D and Noodle dancing on stage while Everett sings from the sidelines. It uses a mix of live-action and 3D CGI and features motion capture to bring the animated characters to life. The clip includes cameos by collaborators such as Vince Staples, Posdnuos from De La Soul, Jehnny Beth of Savages, Phil Cornwell (the voice of Murdoc), and Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz’s co-creator.
