Paul Trulock
Paul Hines Trulock III (May 20, 1943 – April 10, 2020) was an American politician from Georgia. A Democrat, he served in the Georgia State Senate representing the 10th district from 1981 to 1986. He won the seat by defeating Henry P. Russell Jr. in the Democratic primary and was succeeded by Harold J. Ragan.
Born in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of Margretta McGavock and Paul Trulock Jr. He grew up in Climax, Georgia, attended Bainbridge High School and the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science in agriculture in 1965. He became part owner of the Farmer's Peanut Company, which grew into a successful business. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge.
He was married to Diane Trulock and had five children. Paul Trulock died on April 10, 2020, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia, at age 76.
