Acatepec is a municipality in Guerrero, Mexico. The municipal seat is the town of Acatepec. The area covers 599 square kilometers (231 square miles). In 2010, the population was 32,792, up from 28,525 in 2005. Coordinates: about 16.85° N, 98.67° W.
