Parimal Ghosh
Parimal Ghosh (15 March 1917 – 14 October 1985) was an Indian politician and diplomat from West Bengal. He was a member of the Indian National Congress. Ghosh served as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Beldanga from 1957 to 1962. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Ghatal in 1967 and served until 1971. From 1967 to 1969, he was the Minister of State for Railways under Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Later, he was India’s Ambassador to Turkey from 1981 to 1984. He was born in Jalpaiguri, Bengal Presidency, and died in Calcutta, West Bengal. He was married to Nalini Ranjan Ghosh and had one son.
