Paradigm is a graphic adventure game by Jacob Janerka, with music by Jonas Kjellberg. It released on April 5, 2017 for Linux, macOS, and Windows, and is a single-player experience with an Eastern European post-apocalyptic look inspired by the 1970s and 1980s.

Plot
The game follows Paradigm, a genetically engineered person who was horribly mutated and left to grow up alone in a post-Soviet town. As he uncovers his past at DUPA Genetics, he learns he is a mutated prodigy and must defeat Olof, a talking sloth who runs DUPA Genetics.

Development and release
- Kickstarter funded the project, ending October 7, 2014, raising AUD 36,557 from 1,387 backers (about 250% of the AUD 14,000 goal).
- To crowdfund it, designer Jacob Janerka quit his job. An alpha demo was released for download.
- It was originally planned for a mid-2015 release. On August 4, 2016, it was selected as one of six winners to be shown at the PAX Aus Indie Showcase 2016.
- In March 2017, a trailer announced an April 5, 2017 release date for Steam and Humble Bundle.

Reception and awards
The game received generally positive reviews, with an average Metacritic score around 85. Destructoid gave 9/10, IGN 8/10, and Press Start 9/10, praising humor, story, world, puzzles, and performances. It also won the Australian Game of The Year award at Melbourne International Games Week 2017.
