Sampath Nandi
Sampath Nandi (born 20 June 1980) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works mainly in Telugu cinema. He was born in Odela, Peddapalli District, Telangana, and earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from V. L. College of Pharmacy. He trained under Posani Krishna Murali for about three years and also made ad films in Mumbai and Bengaluru. He made his directorial debut in 2010 with Yemaindi Ee Vela, starring Varun Sandesh and Nisha Aggarwal, which ran well in theaters. His second film, Racha (2012) with Ram Charan and Tamannaah, was a blockbuster and ran for many days in Andhra Pradesh, earning about ₹450 million. In 2015 he directed Bengal Tiger with Ravi Teja, Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna. In 2017 he released Goutham Nanda, starring Gopichand, Catherine Tresa and Hansika Motwani. He later teamed with Gopichand for Seetimaarr, a Kabaddi-based film. Shooting began in December 2019 but was delayed by the pandemic; Seetimaarr released on September 10, 2021.
