Dick Cracknell (footballer)

Richard Cracknell (born 1893 in Newcastle upon Tyne) was an English footballer who played as a half-back. He began with Newcastle United in 1914–1915 but did not appear in a league match. He then spent time with Crystal Palace (1919–1920, with no league appearances) and Maidstone United (1920–1923). Cracknell returned to Crystal Palace from 1923 to 1926, making 47 Football League appearances. He finished his career with Dartford in 1927. The date of his death is unknown.
