Overture: Live in Nippon Yusen Soko 2006
Overture: Live in Nippon Yusen Soko 2006 is a live album by the Japanese band Ghost. It was recorded on October 9, 2006 in a former warehouse space and released on October 23, 2007 by Drag City. The performance was entirely improvised from start to finish. The audience was not allowed to leave the venue until the show ended, and the band members were kept apart visually, only able to hear each other. The 56-minute set blends psychedelic, free improvisation, and avant-garde styles. A bonus DVD of the performance is included.
