Christian Christophersen Sehested (22 February 1666 – 19 July 1740) was a Danish noble and statesman. He was the son of Christoffer Clausen Sehestedt of Nislevgaard on Funen. After his father’s death, he inherited Nislevgaard manor. In 1701 he married Charlotte Amalie Gersdorff, and through the marriage he also gained Ravnholt manor. The couple did not have children.

Sehested became a Hofjunker (court noble) in 1687. In 1694 he served as a deputy in a government commission. In 1698 he was named to the State Council and was sent to Stockholm to replace Jens Juel. In 1700 he was asked to become Foreign Minister. He then served as the second Grand Chancellor of Denmark from 1708 to 1721, after Conrad von Reventlow and before Ulrik Adolf Holstein.

Later in life he returned to Odense as county governor in 1735, where he died in 1740. He was succeeded as county governor by Christian Rantzau.
