2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship

The 2019 championship was the first under the new Under-20 format, replacing the Under-21 championship. It ran from 25 May to 24 August, with 14 teams taking part.

Tipperary won the All-Ireland title, captained by Craig Morgan and managed by Liam Cahill. They defeated Cork in the final on 24 August, 5-17 to 1-18. This was Tipp’s 11th All-Ireland title overall and their second in a row, as they were the defending champions.

Cork were the runners-up, captained by James Keating and managed by Denis Ring.

Provincial champions were Tipperary (Munster) and Kilkenny (Leinster). Ulster and Connacht did not have championships this year.

Statistics: 14 matches were played, with 39 goals and 504 points scored. The top scorer was Cathal Kiely of Offaly, with 0-44.
