Oregon House of Representatives

The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Oregon Legislative Assembly. It has 60 members, each representing a district of about 65,000 people. Members serve two-year terms with no term limits. The House meets in the House Chamber at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem.

- The Oregon State Senate has been under Democratic control since 2005.
- In 2021, Rep. Mike Nearman was expelled from the House for letting armed protesters into the Capitol; this was the first expulsion in Oregon’s history.
