Chironomus staegeri
Chironomus staegeri is a small fly-like insect called a midge. It belongs to the Chironomidae family and the genus Chironomus. It was first described by Lundbeck in 1898 and has also been named Chironomus fasciventris (Malloch, 1915). This species is found in Europe.
