Electoral district of Bancroft
Bancroft is an electoral district in Queensland's Legislative Assembly. Created in 2017, it sits in the outer north of Brisbane in the City of Moreton Bay. It is named after Joseph Bancroft, a pioneer doctor. The district covers about 74 square kilometres and has about 36,462 voters as of 2020. The current member is Chris Whiting of the Labor Party. Bancroft was formed from the northern and central parts of the former Murrumba electorate and includes suburbs such as Burpengary East, Deception Bay, North Lakes and parts of Narangba, Rothwell, Morayfield and Mango Hill.
