Doncaster Business School
Doncaster Business School was part of Doncaster College in England. It opened in 1992 as Dearne Valley Business School. The school offered postgraduate degrees in management, including MBAs, and professional qualifications (CIPD, CIM, CMI, ILM), as well as undergraduate courses.
It was based at the High Melton campus, which closed in 2017. The campus was part of a University Centre, validated by the University of Hull and the University of Wales. Facilities on site included a nine‑hole golf course, a learning resource centre and a restaurant.
High Melton is a small village, with the Hall on the campus area having historical connections to the Montagu family. In 2003, the school was awarded Centre of Vocational Excellence status by the Learning Skills Council.
Around 500 students studied there across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programs, and the school offered a general MBA. Part‑time and flexible study options were available. Employees from various large companies studied there. The average age of part‑time MBA students was about 37, and the gender mix was roughly 60% male and 40% female.
The school also offered courses and seminars in entrepreneurship and innovation management through its Innovation Academy.
