One Sexy Zone
One Sexy Zone is the debut album by the Japanese pop group Sexy Zone. It was released on November 14, 2012, by Pony Canyon and includes three singles: "Sexy Zone," "Lady Diamond," and "Sexy Summer ni Yuki ga Furu." The album came in four versions: Regular Edition; Limited Edition with a bonus DVD; Lawson-HMV Limited Edition with behind-the-scenes content and music videos; and Sexy Zone Shop Limited Edition.
The album did very well on the charts. It debuted at number one on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart, selling 86,451 copies in the first week, which made Sexy Zone the youngest male group to top the chart with an average member age of 15.4 years (the previous record was 16.3 years by w-inds.). It reached number three on Billboard Japan Top Album Sales and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for shipments over 100,000 units.
To promote the album, Sexy Zone held their New Year Arena Concert 2013 at Osaka-jō Hall and Yokohama Arena. In Oricon’s year-end list, the album sold 95,421 copies in Japan and ranked 71, and it also appeared at number 91 on Billboard Japan’s year-end chart.
