Olle Bexell

Olle Bexell (14 June 1909 – 6 January 2003) was a Swedish decathlete from Luleå who competed for IFK Luleå. His personal best was 6781 points in 1937. He finished seventh in the decathlon at the 1936 Summer Olympics and won the European Championships in the decathlon in 1938 in Paris. He was Swedish champion in pentathlon in 1938 and in decathlon from 1935 to 1938, and he held the Swedish national decathlon record from 1937 until 1966. He died in Uppsala at age 93.
