Juhan Mettis

Juhan Mettis (born 19 June 1990 in Tartu) is an Estonian judoka. He started judo in 1997, coached by Riina Tormis and later by Andres Põhjala. He graduated in 2014 from the University of Tartu, Institute of Physical Education. Mettis won a silver medal at the 2009 European Junior Judo Championships and has competed at the European Judo Championships. He is a multi-time Estonian champion and was a member of the Estonian national judo team from 2009 to 2017. In 2015, he was named Best Male Judoka of Estonia.
