Gagasi FM is a Durban-based radio station in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It broadcasts on 99.5 MHz (Pietermaritzburg 98.5 MHz) and is owned by MRC Media (PTY) Ltd. The station plays urban music, including R&B, Afro pop, hip hop, house and kwaito. It launched on 13 March 2006, originally as P4 99.5 FM or P4 Radio Durban. Gagasi FM serves English and Zulu listeners and has reported growing audience numbers, with about 1 million listeners in its first year and around 10 million by May 2007.
