Oakleigh Garden Historic District

Oakleigh Garden Historic District is a historic area in Mobile, Alabama, centered on Washington Square. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 13, 1972. The original boundaries ran roughly along Government, Marine, Texas, and Ann Streets. A boundary increase on January 30, 1991 extended the district to include Rapier Avenue, Selma Street, Broad Street, and Texas Street.

The district covers about 145 acres and contains around 288 contributing buildings. Buildings date from the 1820s through the 1940s, with a variety of 19th-century architectural styles. Common styles include Federal, Greek Revival, Classical Revival, Late Victorian, and, later, Bungalow/Craftsman.
