2019 Derbyshire Dales District Council election
The 2019 Derbyshire Dales District Council election took place on 2 May 2019 to elect all 39 councillors. It happened on the same day as other local elections.
The Conservative Party kept control of the council for the fifth straight time, but with a very small majority of one seat (20 of 39).
For the first time since 1999, no ward was uncontested. This was also the last election under the ward boundaries used since 2003.
Results by party:
- Conservative: 20 seats (40.1% of the vote), down from 29
- Liberal Democrats: 8 seats (23.6%), up from 3
- Labour: 6 seats (26.2%), up from 5
- Independents: 3 seats (3.7%), up from 2
- Green Party: 2 seats (5.3%), up from 0
