Nuno Álvares Pereira (governor)
Nuno Álvares Pereira was the 5th Governor of Portuguese Ceylon. He held the post from 1616 to 1618, during the reign of King Philip II of Portugal. He came after Manuel Mascarenhas Homem and was succeeded by Constantino de Sá de Noronha.
