Pulse is an American house music group. They had five tracks on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, and their biggest hit—and only No. 1—was "The Lover That You Are" in 1996, credited to Pulse featuring Antoinette Roberson. It reached No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart in May 1996, and was their only UK chart hit. The 12-inch single’s B-side featured an a cappella version of the track, which led to many bootleg remixes that combined it with other dance tracks.
