Navigator is the debut studio album by the Japanese city-pop group 1986 Omega Tribe, released on July 23, 1986. The 42-minute album was recorded at several Tokyo studios, including Nichion, Sound Inn, The Peninsula Free Port, Sound Design, SkySmile Garage, and Discomate, and released by VAP with Koichi Fujita as producer. Navigator became the band’s most popular release, reaching No. 2 on the Oricon charts. It features their debut single “Kimi ha 1000%,” released May 1, 1986, which peaked at No. 6 on Oricon; the album version is a different mix from the single. The album’s Japanese title is ナビゲイター (Flight of the Navigator). Navigator precedes Crystal Night (1987) in Omega Tribe’s discography.
