N9 road (Central African Republic)
The N9 road in the Central African Republic is a 65-kilometer dirt road that runs from Kongbo to Mobaye, along the Ubangi River near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. It branches off from the N2 and links Kongbo and Mobaye, with the DR Congo side connected via the Congolese N24 route. The road mainly serves local travel and trade between the two towns and helps cross-border movement.
Little is documented about its history. A bridge over the Ubangi River was started, with a dam built on the DR Congo side and some bridge pillars in place, but the deck has never been completed, and there is no known completion date.
