Trollkins is a 1981 American animated comedy about a small group of trolls who live in Trolltown, a tree-top town. The show follows Blitz, Pixlee, and their pet Flooky as they get into goofy adventures. Trolltown is home to Trollkins with faces in green, blue, or purple. Blitz is the eager, sometimes reckless kid; Pixlee is curious and clever; Flooky is their talking animal friend. Blitz’s father, Mayor Lumpkin, is a short, hot-headed mayor who often speaks in spoonerisms. Pixlee’s father, Sheriff Trollsom, is milder, and his deputies Dotty and Flake help keep order, though they’re a bit bumbling. The Troll Choppers, a renegade motorcycle gang, show up now and then to stir up trouble, but they’re mostly just a nuisance. The show aired on CBS for one season, with 13 episodes (26 segments), each about 11 minutes long within a 21-minute block.
