Anadia steyeri
Anadia steyeri, commonly known as Steyer's anadia, is a species of lizard in the Gymnophthalmidae family. It is found only in Venezuela. The name steyeri honors Dr. Steyer of the Naturhistorisches Museum in Lübeck, Germany.
Where it lives: Northwestern Venezuela, in the states of Aragua, Carabobo, and Falcón, in forests at elevations of 400–700 meters (1,300–2,300 feet).
How it reproduces: It lays eggs (oviparous).
Conservation: Least Concern (IUCN 3.1).
