Myxine affinis
Patagonian hagfish, or Myxine affinis, is a jawless fish in the hagfish family. It lives in shallow waters off Tierra del Fuego, at the southern tip of Argentina and Chile. Its range is limited, but it isn’t seen as at high risk because there has been little fishing there, though crustacean trap fishing has recently started in the area. The species is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
