Le Gicq
Le Gicq is a small commune in southwestern France, in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It covers about 16 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of 58 to 98 meters. In 2023, 121 people lived there, giving a density of about 20 inhabitants per square kilometer. The commune is part of the Saint-Jean-d'Angély arrondissement and the Matha canton. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Jean-Mary Boisnier. The INSEE code is 17177 and the postal code is 17160.
