Mount Avejaha Sign Language
Mount Avejaha Sign Language is a village sign language used in a remote village in the foothills of Mount Avejaha, Oro Province, Papua New Guinea. The area has many deaf children, and the sign language formed within the local community. It is different from other village sign languages in New Guinea, and deaf people are well integrated into everyday village life.
